This dinner was designed around the beautiful La Tuile à Loup plates that I have been collecting for years. This Parisian store sells some of the most special handmade tableware made by artisans throughout France. Their pieces are prized by collectors and truly are considered art. Personally, I find there is a beautiful sophistication in their more rustic pieces.

My grandmother was born in Marçais, so growing up I ate many French country dishes. My absolute favorite is ratatouille as it is cozy, loving, easy and delicious. I have passed on the love for this traditional dish to my children.
